Undergraduate Level

Volunteer Research Technician
The HCI Laboratory is currently seeking undergraduate  student volunteers who are willing to work 5 to 10 hours per week. Duties will involve assisting graduate students with data acquisition and analysis.  This position is viewed as an entry level with the potential for continued and evolving independent research projects.  Please send a resume and cover letter via email to Dr. Enid Montague. 

Independent Research/ Undergraduate Thesis Projects 

The HCI Laboratory is currently seeking rising junior and senior undergraduates who are interested in working on senior or independent research projects.  Research topics may range from prototype design/testing  to understanding technology interaction in health care. Graduate Level

Masters Thesis / Independent Research Projects 
The HCI Laboratory is currently seeking engineering graduate students who are interested in working on master's theses or independent research projects.  Research topics may range from prototype design/testing  to technology interaction in health care to team collaboration. Please send a resume and cover letter via email to Dr. Enid Montague.

Doctoral Research Assistantship

One doctoral research assistantship is available beginning in July 201o. This position will focus on the development of technologies to support collaboration in health care. Another project will involve using human factors and ergonomics engineering methods to understand the effects of technology implementation in health care work systems. In support of these projects, research collaborations with primary care physicians, biomedical engineers, and industrial partners have been established. Full funding (stipend and tuition) is available for this assistantship.  A B.S. or M.S. degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science with a concentration in human factors and ergonomics and human-computer interaction is preferred.
